(Manchester, CT – September 13, 2011)  Scan-Optics is pleased to announce that John Casanova has joined the Company as Director of Business Development, Document Process Outsourcing.  Casanova will drive new sales initiatives for a wide variety of data capture, indexing, document processing imaging services, and hosted archive services to both commercial and government clients.

Mr. Casanova has extensive sales development experience in the US for technology companies, most recently with Atalasoft, Inc. – a Document Imaging Software company in Easthampton, MA.

Prior to working for Atalasoft, John held various positions in Sales, Channel Management and Training with C2C Systems – a U.K. company in the Exchange e-mail archiving space.

John has an MBA, and is CDIA+ (Certified Document Imaging Architect) and AIIM SharePoint Practitioner certified.
